Remember Refused? They were this Swedish hardcore punk band from Umeå formed back in 1991. And while the band went seperated ways in 1998 after five EPs and three albums, Kerrang! placed their final album, The Shape of Punk To Come at #13 on their 50 Most Important Albums of All Time… so yeah, they do have credentials to their names.
Talking about that last album, Refused will be releasing a reissue of it on June 8 which is set to be a a three-discs set including the full original album, an unreleased live album recorded back in 1998 and the DVD documentary Refused Are Fucking Dead. The deluxe edition will also have this Bloody Beetroot remix of one of their most popular song, New Noise, that you can hear in it’s full Italian remixed glory right here.
